PERSONALITY
Dr. Adam Fenric has a stone-cold brilliant mind. Almost genius-level. But he is also very anti-social, jaded and often quite callous, though sometimes without really trying to be.He can sometimes be quite an intimidating presence, and often finds himself at odds with the more happy-go-lucky types of the business and sceptical towards the supernatural aspects of it.Adam prefers logic over fantasy and doesn’t subscribe to superstition or fanatical beliefs. Fenric sees himself as a realist and a strategist, planning matches and scenarios to an almost obsessive degree.Despite all of this, Adam has a very defined sense of right. He is sentimental and duty-bound once he sets himself to something. Aloof, spikey, cutthroat, but ultimately a force for good.

If one word could define Adam Fenric’s story, it would be “reprisal”. A young, three year old Adam Fenric watched his father’s career end in heartbreak, and it changed both his life and outlook on the world forever.Spending several years as a doctor specialising in wrestlers and athletes before becoming one himself, Adam Fenric initally dedicated his life to avenging his father’s legacy. For a while, he was almost a nightmarish figure - mentioned, but never seen. A man who ‘changed’ people, something that earned him the nickname “The Plague Doctor”. But it was an unlikely alliance with Emery Layton that changed the perception of him and led him onto the road to success. And they were good for each other. She learned patience and applying herself, he learned empathy, morality and standing up for what's right. They made quite the team. Until they didn’t.Put in an impossible position, Adam was the one to force Em into her first retirement, and immediately went into exile. For the last few years, though, Adam Fenric has been busy. Keeping to the shadows, travelling between promotions, purging them of corruption and liberating them before moving on, like a lone ranger. He has redefined what The Plague Doctor means.After half a decade, Fenric has resurfaced in our side of wrestling. Things have changed since he was last around. WRESTLING STYLE
Adam Fenric is relentless. Lots of submissions, wearing the opponent down, creating injuries that he can then work on throughout the match. To get out of submissions, he will always try the most creative methods first, which can range anywhere from unorthodox to actual 'no-one-would-think-of-that' brilliance. Sometimes when he is annoyed enough his plan will be thrown completely out the window and he will end up acting out of rage, leaving him open to mistakes he will later regret. He is brutal and meticulous.

STRENGTHS
Catch wrestling: One of Adam Fenric's biggest strengths is his 'catch' style of wrestling, of which he is very gifted and very efficient. If you are technically sound, Adam Fenric will be very competitive with you and try to gain the upper hand where he can. If you are not a technical wrestler or cannot keep up with one, he will run absolute rings around you.Submissions: One of the main reasons Adam went into the line of work he did before he became a wrestler was to study common injuries within wrestling and how they could be avoided but also caused. As a result, the Plague Doctor has become a submission expert over time. He knows what moves hurt and to what degree, constantly experimenting and studying new ways to apply holds and ensure a faster submission or tap-out from the victim. Simply put- Adam Fenric makes submission wrestling frightening.Strategy: You can fault Adam for his lack of humanity as much as you please, but if you want someone to deduce the way in which an opponent will attack, how he's likely to see the match from his point of view and what the best course of action to take to avoid the opponent's worst and give them your best, Adam is 100% the man for that. Adam Fenric with preparation time is a force to be reckoned with.
WEAKNESSES
Arrogance: Adam places a lot of stock into his own strategic thought-process and intellect, and thus finds it difficult to believe that he could be wrong about a great number of things. A miscalculation or assumption about his opponent he has flippantly decided to make can completely derail his plans.Temper: Anger is probably the only other emotion Adam will publicly display other than a despondent glare. You're likely to see it, as mentioned in wrestling style, if and when Adam's plan has completely fallen apart and someone else has got his number. That's where he starts throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks, and he'll only get angrier the less it works out for him.Emotion: It’s easy to assume, as per the cold, calculated wall he puts up, that Adam Fenric is incapable of emotion, but that’s untrue. While he has issues being empathetic and is often callous, when something affects Adam it can cause some real trouble. He carries guilt and regret with him for a very long time, he takes a while to process things and can sometimes shut down entirely. It’s not that he doesn’t feel emotion, it’s that he doesn’t quite know how to process them.
